Aztec had a large and efficient army. Prisoners of war were used for human sacrifice to satisfy the many gods of the Aztec pantheon, notably Huitzilopochtli, the chief god, who was god of war.

I don't think so. The intergalactic treaties of 1502 provide for time to cease to exist for all humans at the end of the last year on the Aztec calendar. When the Zycrons return to earth they are under contract to eliminate all human genetic trial subjects of which comprises all of earthly mankind. This is not a supposition it is a contract to see which of the genetically engineered species will be best suitable for workers or food. Some refer this uptaking of the select human species for harvesting as the "Rapture" in the bible. Oh and the Aztlan thing... forget it. Racists never survive.

I admit that I know virtually nothing about the Aztecs. Perhaps you could add details. Were they conquerors like the Vikings or what? I would like to think the American Indians would have protected their land to the death....wait a sec....the Aztecs didn't have guns, did they?

Probably not.

All of North and South America was dominated by Natives who lived in certain areas.

They all lived in seperate areas but would war with each other.

Therefore they all basically kept in the same areas, and kept each other in balance.

Very few conquered drastically across large amounts of space.

There was also trade between these cultures.

So when they weren't fighting, they were sharing goods and ideas.

No they would have got fat and lazy and some newer group would have displaced them in time.

Just like the Romans were displaced by barbarian tribes in Europe.
