Just wondering if anyone has turned on their heat yet. I am in New Brunswick, Canada and it is 6 degrees celsius outside. I am debating on whether or not to turn the heat on. What would the outside temperature have to be for you to turn on your heat?

Well, I live in Thunder Bay ON, and let me tell you, we have turned on the heat. Had we not yet I would be doing it right this second. We have already gotten to below zero here. But, regardless our general house rule is that if the outside temp drops below ten, we turn on the heat at night then off during the day with a programable thermostate. Hope this is a bit of help, Music

I live in Texas and we are in the middle of a heatwave with temperatures in the 90's so no we haven't turned on the heat yet. It has to be like 50 degrees in my house for me to turn the heat on. I'd rather put on a sweat shirt than to turn the heat on.

I've turned on the heat a few times, but just to warm up my apartment. Then I turn it off. I think the temperature was in the 40's.
