i think 4 wheel drive is saver and faster. subarus come with turbo and 4 wheeel drive. thats better for me. but i own a 94 impreza and two 95 civics

My vote is for Subaru products all the way. I currently own a 2003 Forester. It is a phenomenal vehicle and the service behind it is great. Any time it has to go in for an appointment, the company provides a loaner vehicle, and goes over every detail of the work performed with me. I have owned two other Subaru vehicles previously, they were both used and had about 200,000 miles on them before I had to have anything major done to them beyond oil changes and tire rotations and replacements. I know people who have owned Hondas for a long time and high mileage also, so you need to take each for a test drive and see what you feel is the most comfortable for you and your driving needs. I was planning on buying another Subaru wagon when I bought the Forester, but when I drove the Forester; I knew that it was the perfect choice for me. The extra height and visibility is what sold me on the Forester. Being a bit on the petite side, any additional height is a good thing for me. Good luck in your search, a vehicle is generally the second largest purchase in anyone's lifetime, next to a home; so it is an important decision. Subaru ranks very high in safety features also and that is a big factor in any vehicle for me. Good luck and happy and safe driving.

07 civic si vs. 07 wrx? wrx all the way. base model civic vs. base model impreza? impreza all the way. the impreza does have awd and a slightly larger engine along. if you're looking for better mpg, then go civic. it eeks out the impreza by a few mpg. if you are a "spirited" driver, then subaru is where you need to be.

base model to base model hands down Civic with the Honda build quality and the stock VTEC motor
top of the line, performance goes to the STI vs. the SI but I think the honda will stil last longer
