The best thing would be to call a few other churches in your area and see what the typical rate is your area.
A few things to consider:
1. How long is your service?
2. How many services do you have?
3. Is this a professional or amateur pianist?
4. Is it a memeber of your congregation?
5. Will there be practice time outside of church?
I used to play for 2 services a week, and I made $75.00, but that was about 10 years ago.
I know people who play 2 services now that make $150.00 as substitues for the regular full-time person.
