hey,

i have an awesome voice. i get awards for my reading aloud. i'm the lead vocalist and occaisional guitar for my rock band. the thing is, i've never taken singing lessons. we are punk rock or hard rock, or something like that. so im not worried about annunciation or toning, but how to get my voice warmed up so i don't crack it by accident. i definetly don't want that happening during a gig.

first off, go rock music!!! seconed, have someone strum / play a note and mimic it. do scales like in band. go high-low-high-low, etc. that's what my choir teacher said. keep in mind i'm in 8th grade though.
