here r the smoky eyes in three different scenarios
wonder under
-skool
-dust a muted erath-toned shadow over ur lids. then usa a black eyeliner (try rimmel special eyes eyeliner pencil in black magic, $3 at drugstores) to draw a thin line under ur lower lashes, from inner to outer corners, extending it to a 1/2 inch long tail
all around hottie
-date
-build on the "wonder under" look by lining ur top lashes wit the pencil. connect the top and bottom lines at teh tails pint. use a shadow brush to dust a black matte shadow (try Girlactik Star Shadow in VIP, $14 at sphora.com) over both lines
best in shadow
-party
-add to the all around hottielook by blending the black shadow from ur top lashes to ur creases. higlight ur inner corners by applying a gray gel pencil (try CoverGirl EyeSlicks in Silver Streak, $6 at drugstores) on top of the black shadow. redust the black shadow along lower lashes and gently smudge wit a cotton swab.
-tip:try a satin top cuz its a perfect complement to a glam smoky eye look!

Decide what your style is first. Are you dramatic, romantic, sporty, traditional, etc? Then choose from the kinds of clothes that suit your personality. Don't try to wear what looks good on your friend. Know what your style is. Do one of those season color tests and decide what colors of clothing look best on you, then wear the colors that flatter your hair and skin. These are major factors in determining what to wear and hair and make up colors.

Try to find clothes that look good on you. Have you ever seen the show, "What Not To Wear" ?(it's on cable) It doesn't tell people a certain "Fashion" to wear, but tells them about whats good for them. Have a nice long trip to the mall. Try on as many things you want, and write down what looks good on you, then make a note of what doesn't. P.S. Good Luck!

I like to use an eyeshadow primer before putting on eyeshadow to help the color stay and to prevent creasing. Less is more in this situation.

I lightly brush a few strokes of mascara on half of each of my eyebrows to make them stay in place and i notice that it makes more defined and stand out only just a bit.
