Yeah there are much better and cheaper contraceptives to stop it all coming to that. And no I am not surprised, if I had a young daughter I would put her on the pill and teach her safe sex practises rather than tell her not to have sex, because if she wants to she will do it anway.

I work in a pharmacy and while I can't say what goes on in Dr.s offices or planned parenthood, I can say that we actually don't dispense them very often.
When they go over the counter, things could change.
