i'm going to be wearing a short pink halter dress. my hair will be in a half updo, and my shoes will be sandal heels.
should i bring a clutch, or a small shoulder bag?

I'm an expert in the purse area. My advice would be to bring a clutch b/c they're cute and plus some of them have those straps where you can put it around your wrist instead of holding it and if you wear the small shoulder bag it'll keep sliding off if you're going out at night.

I would go with a small shoulder bag, since the dress is short. A clutch would go better with a long dress, in my opinion. (:

Both look pretty OK to me.
Frankly, I'd go with the clutch because the shoulder bag is... I don't know... something I'd use with casual wear like, denim or something, but that's just me^_^

It depends where your going...if your going to something extremly casual i would use a shoulder bag, but if the occasion was a little bit more formal, i would bring the clutch!!

Either one will work. But the small shoulder bag allows you to have your hands free if you need to keep the bag with you.

depends on the occasion. if it's dressy then a clutch. Causual then definitely the small shoulder bag.
