You can show how marginalized peoples in the past, along with their supporters and sympathizers, demonstrated and pushed for their rights- for instance, the Civil Rights Movement, or Woman's Suffrage Rights. These are but two examples of people standing up for and demanding equal rights and respect for their person and rights to freedom.
