Agree with Colorado. You can have all four seasons with distinct seperation between them. You haven't lived until you go into the mountains in the fall and see the aspen trees turn.

Mostly any state east of the Rockies. I prefer the east coast but only like to visit the four seasons - my favorite place would be the Pacific North West - I have another home in Northern Washington State and just love the seasons there. All four seasons are fabulous and never get to be "too much." I live imost of the time in California and take a short drive to the snow and really cold weather. But escape to the Pacific North West for a different kind of beautiful weather any time of year.

I'm going to 2nd New Jersey not JOISEY but New Jersey as in South Jersey. Growing up there in anice communitiy I had four seasons but also these pluses.
Philadelphia: World class city with all four major Sports teams 20 minutes away
Jersey Shore. Beaches, night life, crazy summer rentals, Atlantic city: 90 -120 minutes away.
New York: Don't need to clarify this one 90 minutes away.
Pocono Mountains P.A. Winter time go Sking, snow boarding in the Pocono mountaians 150 minutes away.
Pine Barrons. Great camping in South Jersey Just watch out for "The Jersey Devil" 30 minutes away.
Lots more also.

I stay in Indiana and the only one that applies, is switching the A/C to warmth in a similar day. Its been that way these days. i've got not met the Mayor. I stay in a brilliant city. Tractors do no longer stress in the path of the city, and are not allowed on the interstate. site visitors jams, are waiting in shape strains and while somewhat all of us and their mom is attempting to get into downtown to paintings on a similar time. I found out grammar in effortless college. I particularly have never shuttle everywhere unique because of the fact i can not arise with the money for it, yet comprehend countless adjectives, i could use to describe it.

Michigan. Not only do you get all four seasons, you get 3300 miles of Great Lakes shoreline, 11000 inland lakes, thousands of beaches, hundreds of islands, hundreds of waterfalls, thousands of acres of sand dunes, millions of acres of forests, the oldest mountains in North America, etc.
