All people are nervous around strangers, note that confidence is considered one of the greatest attractors even if it's a bluff perception is reality!! Most persons who have a great deal of stress around others most commonly won't look you in the eye this is a sign of insecurity and a passive gesture. Not that I'm saying this is a bad thing shyness can be very cruel and limits your social contact. Also a person will fidget, bite their nails or be cruel and sarcastic to affect a front. And some use puns and funny faces to gain acceptance, i personally find this one of the most annoying. Good luck

Sometimes when a person looks nervous, at public speaking events, or interviews, people take pity on them and try to cut them some slack.
All of us feel nervous from time to time, but the key to success is harnessing that nervous energy into positive energy that makes you seem outgoing and confident, even when your insides are shaky and unsure!
It seems to me that most men are attracted to women who seem sure of themselves, not the overbearing bossy types, but the ones who can hold their own in a conversation, and are comfortable in their own skin!

When I am nervous I lose my smile, and at MY age, that means the face sags a bit...NOT so pretty. Also my brows go into a worried look. When a person smiles, they are DEFINITELY more attractive,especially me, and all other women over the age of 45!
