On any question of this type, I check out cnet.com. If it is free, they usually have the download. Another address for them is download.com., but at cnet, you can usually get ratings to help make a good decision.

PC-Cillin is the AV brand name of TrendMicro Security. The Trend Security Suite 2007 is just out. If you go to the TrendMicro web page:

http://www.trendmicro.com/en/home/us/home.htm

and select 'Try' under the PC-cillin box, it'll take you to the free trial. I really recommend the Trend Security Suite (excellent) and the equally good and FREE Trend Housecall (a free manual internet based AV scanner)

If you've got a virus problem your regular AV program can't seem to resolve, try Housecall, using it helped me resolve a persistent virus I simply couldn't get rid of. It convinced me to buy Trend security products, and I've not had any problems since.

Oh yes, I also like their description pagess of 'virii' and how to manually get rid of them. Some 'virii' are just too tough to automatically remove and you've got to go manual deletion methods to clear them up. I've had to do this on my son's pc a couple of times (he used an 'unnamed' propular brand), and I've found the Trend directions to be clear and easier to understand than the descriptions from my son's old security vendor)
