The Look
Stephon kissed me in the spring
Robin in the fall
Colin only looked at me
and never kissed at all
Stephon's kiss was lost in jest
Robin's lost in play
but the look in Colin's eyes
still haunts me to this day

Funny - in high school I kept this poem in a journal where I would write poetry, stories and just whatever. I experienced something similar with my very own *Colin*. The only thing we shared was a cigarette and game of pool. Phooey!

There is this blink theory...that people can forward think the effect of their actions in a blink and envisioning the results causes them to act or not.
This poem, these "eye kisses" or whatever Colin's doing seem like blinks to me--perhaps shared.
Who doesn't blink?

Actually, I think I may have.... a couple summers ago... It was the weirdest thing ever, and when I read the poem I was like, "hey, that kinda sounds familiar...." and no, it wasnt a Colin. It was a Dan.
