1. What if part of the homework is to try and get help from people - to work on their communication skills?
2. What if the students like to do their homework the hard way?
3. Maybe the students enjoy "looking busy" instead of actually working productively.

Some students attention span is shortand can't comprehend reading and putting the correct words together as they should be to recieve a passing grade on subject, some procrastinate and the homework needs to be completed , some just want a free ride through life and you are there.
This really robs students when someone does their homework for them because they may never see how much potientials they have to learn.

sometimes they want to know how to solve something because they have looked for that information and can't find it. I have asked questions that are not to answer homework questions but to figure out what the heck I am doing wrong so I can know how to work that type of problem. I don't know about other people but in my case, I really want to know HOW to work the problem!

I agree if they have a computer and they do, it is just pure laziness. So when I was in school I had to do homework myself. Kids think they are privileged and are to spoiled. Wonder how they will make it in the future??

Maybe because they're tired. Kids get way too much homework these days and studies have shown that homework assignments don't significantly impact overall learning.

beacause they don't understand the question or they are lazy to do their homework.i think it depends the situation of the students some student has to go to work to help the parents for financial or they are homeless.or they don't have any resources to solve their homework
