After admitting to being an alcoholic (sober for 6 1/2 years) I apologized to all I had hurt except in those cases where to do so would cause more trouble than the healing that I would get. Mind you, going thru all of it felt like I was facing a firing squad.

However, when it comes to my ex, I know I am innocent of all charges so she will just have to wait until hell freezes over for an apology.

I have done this mostly by forgiving myself and learning from the wrongs I have made.. I make my peace when I set that example.. the same example that was set for me from experience.

I pretty sure I have.Alot of the time when you have done some thing to hurt a persons feelings,you have no choice to kick you pride or your ego to the curb temporarily,so you can apologise

I haven't done it with each person yet. :( Some people I have no idea how to approach them...they want an explanation so they can yell some more. Maybe I should let them.
