Years ago Apple was targeting this market heavily. They had several advantages over Windows PCs. The Mac had the same graphics and sound across their lineup making it easier for software developers to write software that was compatible with all the machines. The Mac supported color matching which made sure the colors you saw were accurate. Also, MIDI support was available which made it easy to hook the Mac into keyboards and other instruments that supported MIDI so it was popular with musicians.

The reason is that Apples have been used by pros in that industry for a longer period of time, so the software is more mature, for lack of a better term. Nowadays you can run the latest version of Adobe photoshop on any platform, but 15 years ago, the PC was way behind the curve. So the people who've been using Apple all this time are comfortable with the O/S, the look & feel, and are familiar with all the changes to their working tools that have been introduced over various releases.
Then there's the secondary issue that prior to Windows 2000, Microsoft's operating systems just weren't very stable. Even today, XP is light years better than Win98/95 but it still crashes more often than Linux or MacOS.
Hey, back in 1992 the Commodore Amiga was the best platform for editing video, lol.

The technology is the same especially since Apples are using Intel processors now. The difference is the operating system and software options. Macs have typically been known for better graphics but I think it's all equal now. Some people do prefer the music and video software that Macs have.
My wife works as a music professor at a college where everyone is obsessed with Macs. They can't believe she uses a PC.

Well, I'd say that if you think Non-Apple PCs are 'So Much More High Tech' you're looking at the wrong things (like marketing brochures). Apple's machines are currently cutting edge in many areas - or at least as close as one can be and remain stable. Hey, there's an important thing to a recording artist/Video artist. Stability.
The vast majority of PCS - "high tech" or not - come with audio and video targeted at gaming. Meaning seven channels of crap audio, instead of the high quality (24 bit/96 khz) stereo that Macs come with.
Then there's the software that ships with OSX; Garage Band is a great starter program for music creation. iMovie and iDVD are great tools for video editing and composition.
Macs are also darned near dead silent. I'm workin on a dual processor 2 Ghz machine and you have to put your head against the case to tell if it's running. I specifically built a PC for audio recording, and $400 in parts later it still sounded like a jet - a quiet jet, to be sure, but I had to be in the next room to record audio from a microphone.
Then there's Final Cut Pro - the de-facto standard for video editing. PC apps are all very "me too" in that regard.
For audio, Logic is awesome, but Ableton and Cubase and Tracktion are all available for both platforms. I've found Ableton and Tracktion to be MUCH more stable on OSX; Core Audio is immeasurably more stable than ASIO (Windows' low latency driver model is ASIO, Core Audion is Mac OSX's).
I've used both for audio recording and production, and the Mac wins hands down.
NOTE for cuite, above: The Mac pro is a quad Xeon core. Smokes the AMD stuff hands down, even running Windows, and is available with the high end ATI, or the NVidia Quadro, will hold more, faster (DDR2-667) RAM, and faster (3Gbit/sec) SATA interface. Just awarded the "Fastest PC (Windows)" in Europe, and many American Tech sites support their assertions. The Macs come with Dual Layer DVD burners by default, and 10/100/1000 GBit Ethernet cards. And there are CHEAPER monitors than Apples, but none that I've seen are both CHEAPER and BETTER, no matter what the marketing claims on the box says.
So no, the Mac doesn't have 'power like that' - it's much faster.

Binary options let users trade in currency pairs and stocks for various predetermined time-periods, minimal of which is 30 seconds. Executing trades is straightforward. The system uses user-friendly interfaces, which even an 8 years old kid, can operate without having to read any instructions. But winning trades is Not easy.
Binary trading is advertised as the only genuine system that lets users earn preposterous amounts of money in ridiculously short period of time. Advertisers try to implicate as if you can make $350 every 60 seconds; if it was true then binary trading would truly be an astonishing business.
However, does it make any sense? Can every trader make tons of money in binary trading? Who is actually paying all the money or the profit to traders?
The first challenge is finding a trustworthy binary broker; secondly, you need to find a binary trading strategy, which you can use to make profits consistently. Without an effective trading strategy, there is no way you can make money in this business.
Learning a profitable trading strategy is possible, You should watch this presentation video https://tr.im/16635
It's probably the best way to learn how to win with binary option

uh... There are no Apple computers anymore. They finally admitted that their IBM processors sucked big ones and went to X86 architecture. Even Apples are Intel Inside now. Intel processors utilize the SSE2 ans SSE3 instruction set, which only specific applications within microsoft windows can take advantage of. It is my understanding that there is at best, very limited implementation of SSE3 in the unix-based mac os. Basically, even though they run the same hardware, windows still manages more floating point and integer operations per second (FLOPS and MIPS). Basically, Mac will never outperform a PC. Whenever I see benchmark tests, they always compare non special-instruction set computations, and are never on top of the line processors. I'd like to see apple's best go up against an FX-62, or even an FX-55 for that matter. Fact is it would get crushed. The myriad of PC hardware choices out there include so many processors that are faster than the top of the line from Apple. Not to mention you can build screamin' fast PC for half the cost of bottom of the barrel Mac. Anyone who still clings to Mac is doing so because it is familiar. Apples boot camp is proof of this. Why would so many people want to run windows if mac os is faster?
Ok, done ranting now.

This used to be true because apples had what was called a RISC (Reduced Instruction set) based processor that was optimized for Adobe Photoshop. Now that all Macs have intel processors, they use a CISC (complex instruction set) based processor just like every Windows based PC. So guess what.... No advantage for Macs anymore!

the best trading software http://tradingsolution.info
i have attended a lot of seminars, read counless books on forex trading and it all cost me thousands of dollars. the worst thing was i blew up my first account. after that i opened another account and the same thing happened again. i started to wonder why i couldn,t make any money in forex trading. at first i thought i knew everything about trading. finally i found that the main problem i have was i did not have the right mental in trading. as we know that psychology has great impact on our trading result. apart from psychology issue, there is another problem that we have to address. they are money management, market analysis, and entry/exit rules. to me money management is important in trading. i opened another account and start to trade profitably after i learnt from my past mistake. i don't trade emotionally anymore.
if you are serious about trading you need to address your weakness and try to fix it. no forex guru can make you Professional trader unless you want to learn from your mistake.
