And I don't feel it in my throat. And it hurts every time I laugh or cough really hard. It has been like this for about a day and a half. It has happened before but usually at night before I go to bed and goes away in the morning. I'm only 17 and don't have the gas money or the time to go see a doctor. Especially if its not a big deal. I don't have any other health problems. Actually I'm a pretty healthy person besides lack of excercise.

Try some tums. It may be heart burn, but if it gets worse, see a doctor.

May be Gerd, try a 14 day run of prilosec which is over the counter. If the pain goes to your arm and you feel pressure, like an elephant sitting on your Chest you are having a heart attack and RUN to the Phone and call 911. Any Shortness of breath call 911. This is not something to mess with. If it goes away after the Prilosec you know is GERD or maybe an ulcer. If not or it gets worse find a way to see your MD or just go to the ER.

It's likely that it is just gas. Many times gas build up in the stomach creates pain and is confused with heart troubles since the stomach is actually a lot closer to the heart than many people are aware of.I would take an anti-acid and over the counter gas relief medication and see how it progresses. If it worsens, I'd recommend you visit a doctor.

Good Luck! :)

It could be a number of things, since your only 17 I doubt it's anything serious the most common things could be.
1. Gas sometimes it builds up in your stomach areas.
2. I've had that once and I'm only 13 it went away within 3 days come to find out I had just pulled a muscle and it stung/burnt when I would bend over.
Hope I helped. :] & I hope you feel better soon.

I am now not a health practitioner. Hence, I am now not capable to endorse you in clinical attitude. I had a identical trouble one 12 months in the past which later grew to become out to be Ischaemic middle disorder ( IHD). I was once advised by way of the health practitioner that IHD is triggered by way of insufficient waft of blood to the guts. As a influence of insufficient waft of blood, I was once feeling in need of breath. CAG record found out eighty% block in proper coronary artery (RCA) I needed to suffer Angioplasty. I propose you to seek advice a heart specialist with out additional lengthen. But,I will likely be joyful for those who wouldn't have identical trouble as mine.

It could be a number of things, such as ulcers or maybe heartburn. As you say, it may be nothing. But if this came on suddenly- and from what you say, it did- then you may well have a problem.

Have you talked to your parents?

Good luck!
