What is the danger radius of a lighning strick in the ocean? Are fish killed from lightning strickes?

We all know that you are supposed to get out of the water during thunderstorms. How far from a lightning strike is safe? For example, is everything killed within a 20' radius?

Hi. In fresh water the danger zone can be 600 feet (radius). Always a good idea to get out.
