Canada has been free of such rubbish except by association with England. There has been no King Henry of Canada.

There were no Canadian kings. Canada was first a colony of England, and then a Commonwealth nation when the British Empire was transformed into a Commonwealth, the King or Queen of Great Britain becoming monarch of each Commonwealth nation separately. And there never was a British king named Henry after Canada was colonized during the reign of Elizabeth I...after her were James I and II and William and Mary, the Georges, Victoria, Edward, another George or two, and Elizabeth II.

The king or queen of England is also the sovereign of Canada.

No, there was never a Canadian King. Canada is part of the British Empire, therefore her majesty Queen Elizabeth II is its sovereign. As far as I'm aware there have never been any Canadian Kings or Queens.
