Why not? Any religion worthy of itself would not exclude anyone...

Certainly a homosexual can be a practicing Christian. But a practicing Christian cannot be a practicing homosexual. Then too, a practicing Christian cannot be a practicing theif or practicing murderer or practicing liar, etc. That isn't to say that people do all of those things can't be Christians. One of the things that comes with the territory of being a Christian is the recognition that Christ forgives. But Jesus did tell a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery and dragged before him that he did not condemn her but added "go and sin no more." That is the thing, whatever wrong we were doing we get His forgiveness, then His expectation that we stop. He knows those who are His and he is far more tolerant than most people give Him credit for, but He does have expectations, which is why we still call Him "Lord"--He's our boss.

Yes, homosexuals can be religious. Yes homosexuals can be active Christians. I live in NH and we have the only openly homosexual bishop (that is what I think anyways). I know he is openly homosexual, but I'm not sure how he became a bishop because I think there is a rule against that. I also think he was openly homosexual before he became a bishop. I need to ask about this now! Anyways, he came to speak at my graduation, it was awesome.

U all can get mad if u want, but this is how I really feel about this. Here is an honest answer from a bisexual woman. I think we can be religious and belive in god,but I wouldn't be a christian, because I know it's not right for 2 of the same sex to be together, but I do it any way and I do pray every night, I just hope that god can understand that love is hard to come by and that my love for my girlfriend is real and I hope god is an understanding god and looks at us and knows that this is all for love. I hope i am making sense here...

You seem to believe that only Christians can be religious, but there are plenty of other religions out there who have no problem with homosexuality, that all comes from the Bible. There is nothing in Paganism that forbids it, and I know many deeply religious gay, lesbian, and bi Pagans.

If you steal something from a convenient store, can you be religious? That's how silly your question is! You would think in this day and age we'd be more accepting, loving people. Eh oh well.

I'm a lesbian and I go to church. In fact, I worked at Luther Park Bible Park one summer. So the answer to your question is yes.

Yes, I don't see why not. However I don't believe in god or a god, I believe people should live and let live and focus on more positive things in their lives.
