there's quite a few more steps, you know

first, with the pocket egg, after it hatches, take the bird to wake up talon, of course. she'll give you the blue cucco.

the blue cucco belonged to the girls' brother, who is in the lost woods. you are already adult link, so run into the woods, and you'll find him sitting against the stump. but he'll feel better when he hears the chicken. he'll ask you to bring a mushroom to his grandmother

in kakariko village bring the mushroom to the old woman in the potion shop. she makes an odd potion for you to bring back to the boy.

when you bring the potion back, the guy is missing. a kokiri girl gives you the explanation. see, when someone enters the forest, they will eventually become stalfos (skeletons). she'll demand that since the mushrooms are from the forest, the potion must remain there. in return, she gives you a poacher's saw.

the carpenter near gerudo valley originally gave that saw to his wife, but he'll happily accept it. in return, he's got nothing to give except goron's sword. - it's broken.

so now you climb the mountain all the way to the top, to see biggoron. no, he's NOT inside the village. he's not the big goron that's laying there in the room, talking about how he's a smith. No, biggoron is outside. - that's a common mistake people make at this point - anyway, biggoron can't see. he needs eyedrops, and gives you the prescription for the drops he sorely needs

so you head over to king zora, because he used to make these very eyedrops! but... he has none left. he does, however, have an eyeball frog, the main ingredient to the drops. he tells you that you should see the professor near lake hylia.

but when you offer the frog to the professor, he thinks it's dinner! of course, good old link will stop him in the nick of time. the drops will be made... but you now have a time limit to get the drops to biggoron, before they lose their effectiveness

when you bring the drops to biggoron, he'll give you a claim check, as though he is making so many other swords too, and that you'll need to check to prove you are who you say you are.

when you come back, after three days have passed, you can go back, and you'll trade the claim check for the sword. while it is more powerful, it doesn't allow you to use your shield. choose when to use the big sword, and when you need a shield

Twilight Princess (gamecube version) -10 Ocarina of Time- 7 Skyward sword- 4 Majora's mask- 10 Wind Waker- 9 Phantom Hourglass- 4 Spirit Tracks- 3 Its no longer that Skyward sword, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks were inevitably undesirable video games. I do only not imagine they even got here on the purpose of evaluating to how good Twilight Princess,Majora's mask, and the Wind Waker were.

If i remember correctly you start by helping that sad lonely guy you saw in kakariko village as a youngster. Help him by waking him up with a blue chicken in adult links time he will give you something to give the potion person and that will start the chain of events leading to the broken sword. Talk to someone in the village to get the blue chicken- i think it was the chicken lady

Just go to...............the chicken lady in Kakariko village and get the egg from her. Hatch it and then look in the houses in the village for the lazy farmer. Wake him up after you rescue Epona. Give the bird back to the chicken lady who gives you a rare blue cuckoo. Enter the lost woods and go left. Give the guy there the cuckoo and he'll give you a mushroom, whom you take to a potion maker in kakariko village. Take the potion back for the saw and take the saw to the head carpenter for the broken biggoron sword.

The only thing I can think of is that you're not Z-targeting Biggoron. Stand near Biggoron and press Z, then try showing him the sword. If that's not the problem, then I don't know what is.

yeah...I agree with arkguy20.
biggoron is very big and the camara angle will not pick up on his view that easily, try using Z targeting very close to him.
