i like your question. you mentioned that you are smart and missing something and my advise is you have to have a self confident to your self that you are going to be smarter because you are helping yourself.you mentioned that you read a lot, eventhough you read a lot if you didn't understand the meaning and you have lack of comprehension it will not help you to be smarter. just keep on reading, wacthing the news on the t,v.

Read more books, educate yourself more. Watch the HistoryChannel, Discoverychannel, Animal planet, food network. Learn about different things and topics. Read the news, get a subscription to your local newspaper. Enroll in some classes, such as learning a new language or skill (cooking, knitting, Yoga, etc). Ask questions to people that are wiser than you.

I'm each. I've had well instances and dangerous instances. I've discovered how to outlive the streets and the way to outlive the school existence. I select the latter. Believe it or no longer, it is simpler to be a scholar than it's to be homeless. Being road shrewd does no longer imply having normal experience. It way; if you happen to have been dropped within the core of Compton, would you get out with out being shot, robed, or raped?

Try brain teasers and puzzles. Crossword puzzles help too. Google memorization techniques and do some research on how to improve your memory. I'd do it for you, but you seem to need the practice!!! lol
