excuse me? i happen to be indian and although no one in my family wears a turban, it just so happens to be a religious symbol for the sikh people of india. a turban or a "pagdi" is a symbol of modesty and humilty for men of india so they wear one at all times.
although i dont know the full meaning of the turban, i do know that it is a religious symbol, and you really shouldnt be asking such a question....dont mean to be rude, but it could seem offensive to sikh people, or people who wear a turban as part of their religion.
overall. to answer ur question: no i do not think a turban is a fashion accessory. :)

Its not a fashion accessory, its part of someones religion!!! i wouldnt wake up in the morning and say "i think im going to wear my new turban today!"

No. Uh... well in America, Yes. Its a lot hotter in some African countries so they have to wear white turbans to reflect the sun. America is different... it is not as hot as it is in Africa or some parts of Asia.

I have freinds that wear turbans. It is because their hair is considered sacred in the religion.
