Completely backs up my thinking that most Republicans are closet sex fiends. You can't repress sexual energy- it makes you turn Republican.

I not a big fan of the republican party. They knew about the sex scandel for a while and its not making them look to well. I think the republicans care for their money more then the citizens. And democratic care for the people. But that doesn't mean they can't screw us up too.

No Foley's antics have just reinforced how sleazy the Republican party really is. The Republicans are just sneakier about this type of thing. But every once in a while one of them makes a blunder and we all see how they really are! Don't ever let anyone tell you that the Dem's. are sleazy again! You all can now see what's really true!

No, I do not think being a pervert has anything to do with either party. I am sure there are many Democrats and independents that are just as perverted as some of the republicans.

It just goes to show what repressing homosexual feelings will do. It's "bad" to be Republican & gay, & this guy had to hide his feelings until they became something unhealthy & he preyed on young victims. If only Republicans were more open & accepting of homosexuality, Foley would not have been ashamed of who he is, and he would've been able to express his feelings in a healthier way.

Nope - people need to be punished if they break laws. Especially where children are concerned. If you knew about it before it was announced in the news media and did nothing about it, same deal.

No. You can't blame the many for the one. Anyone else who has done the same thing or covered for him, should be held accountable.
Democrats have done bad things too.
Goodness, look throughout history. Poiltics and corruption usually go hand in hand. But not all of them are criminals.

No, it does not change my opinion, because I have always suspected that anything and everything goes on at Capital Hill anyway. They just finally got caught.
