How do you work the DVD player for a Infiniti QX4 or Pathfinder, 2001.?

Can't play the movie in my DVD player in my 2001 Infiniti QX4. This is a standard player from Nissan. Any answers. Does this need a remote?

The rubber trim on the pathfinder variations colour vast time in the sunlight. armorall does not help convey it back to its unique colour. The over all seem is basically plan previous. i could flow with the Infiniti if i could flow back in time.
