our population is 300,000,000
and people keep coming here to enjoy our freedom
(even the stupid freedom to burn their flag)
we invented the internet (that you're using)
we invented the computer (that you're using)
we got to the moon first (but now HAVE to fight islamo-FASCISTS, not ALL muslims)
i know your people invented the concept of zero...(but what have you done for us lately...)
Islamic terrorist attacks serve a clear and focused ideology, a set of beliefs and goals that are evil, but not insane. Some call this evil Islamic radicalism; others, militant Jihadism; still others, Islamo-fascism. Whatever it's called, this ideology is very different from the religion of Islam. This form of radicalism exploits Islam to serve a violent, political vision: the establishment, by terrorism and subversion and insurgency, of a totalitarian empire that denies all political and religious freedom.
Nevertheless there is what might be called a political problem affecting the Muslim world. In contrast to the heirs of some OTHER non-Western traditions, including Hinduism, Shintoism and Buddhism, Islamic societies seem to have found it particularly hard to institutionalise divergences politically: authoritarian government, not to say Islamo-fascism, is the rule rather than the exception from Morocco to Pakistan.
BTW......Islam is a monotheistic religion based upon the Qur'an, which adherents believe was sent by God (Allāh) through Muhammad. Followers of Islam, known as Muslims, believe Muhammad to have been God's final prophet; most of them see the historic record of the actions and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad related in the Sunnah and Hadith as indispensable tools for interpreting the Qur'an.
Like Judaism and Christianity, Islam is classified as an Abrahamic religion. It is estimated that there are 1.4 billion adherents, making Islam the second-largest religion in the world. Secular historians place Islam's beginnings during the late 7th century in Arabia. Under the leadership of Muhammad and his successors, Islam rapidly spread by religious conversion and military conquest.

Is America hated because she is rich and powerful? Envy is a factor with the hatred from some of the European countries, but the poor nations are not envious of America. They understand why she is rich and why they are poor. Envy does not have anything to do with it. The people of the world hate America because of America’s policies. They do not hate the American people; they hate the American government. Is the American government a Satan or is it a benevolent Uncle Sam? Each one has to answer this based on how much brainwashing they have absorbed. Americans need to read Bob Woodwards new book that exposed the fraud concerning the war in Iraq. Woodward also exposed the Water Gate scandal under Pre. Nixon.

Lol, does that surprise you? In the USA we have this thing called " Freedom of Speech". That mean that as long as we don't hurt anyone, we can express ourselves as we wish. This includes burning out own flag. I'm glad you saw that. You see one of the many reasons why we are a great nation.
Too bad there are people like you to make the Muslims look bad.

Back in the 70's I went backpacking in Britain. I was so naive...I thought that people would be nice to me because I was an American. I couldn't believe how rude and hostile some people were. An Englishman witnessed some of the rudeness toward me. He said,"that man is jealous of you. We ALL are. America has it all. You live in the most wonderful country. Do you relize how lucky you are?" I answered, "yes, friend. I DO realize how lucky I am."

It is mainly jealousy of the power and the success of the USA. Islam is mostly (but not only) studied in third world countries where people tend to be less educated and have less access to information. Of course Westerners sometimes turn to Islam, but those people are mainly (but not only) disenchanted with their lot in life.

Because the Am gov't thinks they should run the world (as England did when we broke away from them) Religion has caused most if not all of the wars in the world. We need to learn how to live together & respect each other's beliefs. Don't confuse the Bush administration with the majority of the Am people. Burning the flag was a method of free speech. I'm not sure if we have free speech anymore.

I've seen nothing of any good come from islam.
Have Americans burn our own flag yes! We do so becuse we have something called "freedom of speach" and if they wish to do so then they can.
