Obviously, some misread this question.
It is a question of morality.

well that would be up to him wouldnt it but i would tell him of the cons to this. simply coz i love him loads trust him too n apart from my kids theres no one else i do trust.so i'd trust his loyalty to prevail and hed stay with me. boy a conversation at last that doesnt involve a shop assistant or taxi driver!

No, I would not. In such a case, the sentience of the creature would indicate some sort of humanity, despite the canine appearance. I would suspect the animal to be either an alien life form (and hence a "human" guest) or perhaps (though a natural canine) controlled by an intelligent spirit. Experiments on the first would be sinful, on the second would be fruitless.

No, for the time being, I will conduct my own litte experiments on this genuise. Dont risk losing him. Ask him all the mind boggling questions first. Breed more of it and see wehat happens. Make a lot of money by selling the rights to having him experimented upon or interviews. Any photos. hahaaa

How did you find out about my dog! Seriously why would you think the dog would be taken away and be experimented on, no one can do that without your authority, the only reason a dog gets taken away from you in the UK is for cruelty or biting.

I would release him to the general population under a pen name, and not as a dog. I would act as the dog's proxy. No need to out him and risk the tabloid exposure/disection, but then, an all knowing dog should be heard.

That's so funny that you asked, because I wrote a story about having a talking cat when I was in grade school! LOL! Whether my animal can talk or not, I would never EVER risk having him/her being experimented on. I've got more ethics than that.

No , I would not risk it .I would not risk me being taken away and being experimented on either :~)
We all know only cats talk :~)
I could not allow that to happen to a pet and friend .
