I live in a state in the U.S. and we are famous for our chicken, horses, bourbon, moon bow (only one in the world now), tobacco, and coal mines.....hmmmm, I wonder where I'm from.

I'm from the Texas Hill Country.The Alamo is about an hour away, and you pretty much know what happened there.

Technically, I live in the Land of Lincoln.
However, I'm actually in a suburb of the city known for Budwiser, the Arch, the 1904 World's Fair, toasted ravioli, thin pizza with provel cheese, and the Cardinals among other things.

Space Shuttle Challenger passenger Christa McAuliffe was a teacher from my state.
My state is famous for the White Mountains and our recently demolished "Old Man in The Mountain".
We're famous for our heavy snowfalls and numerous ski resorts throughout the winter months, and colorful foliage throught autumn.

Unfortunately now Hurricane Katrina.
We used to be famous for our French Quarter and Mardi Gras celebrations, beignets and Cafe DuMonde cafe au lait coffee...
Alas, Katrina, took alot of wonderful lifelong things and treasures away from us here in New Orleans.
Some coming back, most gone for good. :(
