Average (Mean) Scores
SAT Reasoning Test: The Average (Mean) Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing Scores
Average scores are based upon the most recent SAT scores of all students of a particular graduating class.

2006 College-Bound Seniors' Average Scores
Critical reading: 503
Mathematics: 518
Writing: 497

However, I think the average to get into a UC or UCLA would be in the 675-715 range....so you might be fine. Will depend what else you can show on your application. Just great grades never seem enough at the top tier schools anymore.
Best of luck!
