I find it hard to believe that your apartment can stop you from placing a cover over your vehicle.

If they do somehow get away with this, you should tell them that you will hold them liable for damage to your automobile from the pine sap. It can damage your paint.

No, there is no really easy way to get that crap off your car. I had to park under a large pine tree myself, years ago when I lived with my father.

Hot soap and water and a lot of elbow grease was the only way I found.

They can't keep you from covering your vehicle. That is your property, not theirs. Cover the car or send them a bill weekly for the cleaning of your vehicle, since their tree is ruining your car. Park across the street if you have to, but get it out from under the tree. You can clean the sap off with tar and wax remover, but it will be a daily routine. If it sits and bakes on the paint in the sun it will ruin your paint job and require sanding to remove the damage.

Go to your local shopping center or auto parts store and purcase a product labeled bug and tar remover. There are alot of brands out there such as Turtle wax and Rain-x. I have had no problem removing sap from my truck with the Turle wax brand bug and tar remover. But remember, dont purchase because of price, spend the extra 75 cents and get the good stuff. Good luck!!

Wax and grease remover (our body shop calls it pre clean). This stuff works great and wont hurt your paint. Find a local automotive paint supplier and they will help. Don't worry its simple and cheap.
