because it's stupid that the person has wasted the network's time when a real contestant could have been selected to play. now granted, if a loved one dies that's another story but if the just"can't do it anymore" that doesn't make sense. whay did they expect it was going to be like??

Well, one of the people who quit was like the biggest, potentially strongest on the tribe. He said he couldn't allow his body to be depleted any more or some such stuff, said he was getting too weak to continue. And yeah, I imagine Jeff Probst was not the only person on the island that was mad. The tribe lost one of their numbers, as well as losing help at camp and in challenges. He put his tribe at a disadvantage. The other part of it is that you shouldn't even go through the application process if you are not willing to commit to the entire 39 days. There are way too many people that long for the opportunity to see someone throw their own opportunity out the window because they are tired of the inconvenience...

Because there are like thousands of people who apply for the show and only a lucky few get selected. It makes the show pointless when someone quits for no apparent reason. He probably just thinks it is stupid.

He is probably tired and grumpy. I wouldn't want to sleep in a tent for three months. I don't care how much he gets paid.

Because it is a game of endurance most of all, and why bother playing if you aren't going to last. Some people leave after a few set backs, not because of major problems. And he hates it when a team loses on purpose just to evict a player.

Maybe he just has a thing against quitters. I also expect that the producers of the show who paid the quitters way aren't real happy because they may feel they haven't gotten their money's worth and maybe Jeff is just reflecting that.

Because these people have gone through a whole process and beat out other people to be on the show. It would piss me off too. Waste of everyone's time. They probably talk crap, like they are big **it and then quit like little babies.

Because it messes up their show. They carfully select these people and they quit. That is what makes him mad.

It ruins the ratings so he has to do something to get the audience back.
