do any1 know wut the little black flies tat fly around the garbage + light r called? they r very small, and i first thought they were drosophilas but now i am not so sure. i have to know this, so please help me out. They are tiny and flies sorta slow, attracted to light... thankz. also does anyone know if they hatch on anything and everything?

They're most likely fruit flies.
Take the garbage out and clean the can and the area with a strong cleaner. Some time ago someone asked a similar question about how to get rid of these little pests. Several people suggested bowls of white vinegar. I tried it, and apparently it does work: I don't have fly problems now.

Someone in here told me about vinegar and I used plain apple cider vinegar and it worked pretty well. I had 11 dead flies in just a couple of hours,
