Once they take the artificial caps off the yuan and open their currency they will own Europe and the US. When that happens their human rights record will be secondary to rebuilding our economy.

Shame on bloop for saying 'they only take the organs of people who've spoken against the government'. Assuming he's a citizen of a western democracy, shouldn't he support freedom of speech in China rather than siding with the oppressor? Does he agree that hacing one's own opinion should be a capital offence?
It disgusts me to see supposed liberal lefties like Tony Blair and Ken Livingstone (mayor of London) excusing the Tienanmen Square massacre and kissing up to the butchers who run that country so they can make money. Bush got it right when he opposed the lifting of the EU arms embargo. The asker is right - we should stop treating China like any other normal civilised country until they start acting like one. They deserve the same censure as Ba'athist Iraq, Zimbabwe, North Korea and Burma.

A signifigant portion of the US will never boycott chinese made goods, their are too many good and the US population is too big. It seems that buying chinese goods has actually done more for human rights than anything else, to an extent. Deng Xiaoping
made some of the biggest improvements in the Chinese system to benefit capitalism.

I have been to China reicently and they are getting better, but it's a gradual thing. It won't change overnight.
I believe as they become more 'westernized' Human rights will be on the forefront of most peoples minds.
The main problem seems to be that the people in the villages do not have a voice which people can listen to.

The US will always support China, there is much to gain economically. Many US companies have their goods manufactured there at a fraction of what it would cost in the US. As far as the human rights issue, the US has bigger concerns than that, this kind of things are left to human rights advocates. As far as organ farming, they only take the organs of dead or executed prisoners, mainly people who speak out against the government. Though it may seem cruel, those prisoners knew what was coming if they speak against the government, its not like they are kept in the shadow of it. Its just like in the US, if you commit a very severe crime, you will get punished, only in the US execution through lethal injection is not as painful or scary as old fashion execution with guns pointing at you. One last thing, is that China is not the only place that does stuff like this, there are many more and equally cruel things being done to people throughout the world, we are just not exposed to them all.

They are killing prisoners not just people at random. And they do it because of the profits in organ transplants. And if you don't want to support them don't buy anything made in China. As far as our gov supporting them? Well They have been for years and the dumb thing about that is the Chinese consider America to be their biggest enemy.

this is all approximately GEOPOLITICS. each and every diverse area could make their own rattling rules as long yet another area does not initiate a conflict or some thing like that. If i found an island in the midst of nowhere and no person else tries to declare it, i will make in spite of rules i choose. i will make a regulation that i will kill who ever i choose, yet this regulation is basically facilitates me to try this for the period of my island. yet another occasion may be the u . s .. Now, there are a number of techniques a regulation could be allowed in the U. S., yet i'm basically going to compliment a definite variation. If the a regulation is suggested in the Senate or homestead of Representatives that all of us is authorized to stress women people into sterilization, the two certainly one of them agree in the path of the main remarkable ratio of vote casting, the president approves, judicial overview facilitates it, and no different cutting-edge or destiny replace, prop, etc opposes it, then it is authorized. IN end, the western international possibly do no longer cope with China maximum possibly because of the fact of a hazard of conflict and the possibility of dropping a conflict they started. think of if China connect forces with the middle East. The western international might back off. Now, think of if the the remainder of the international connect forces with the middle East SO YEAH! I recommend the outcomes of a conflict are obscure yet I doubt the western could desire to initiate one exceptionally in this financial disaster. besides, they seem to be a load of alternative issues that are occurring in the international which you will possibly disagree with. with the aid of complete of existence study, i found out that particular foreign places factors are allowed to do stem cellular study, and stem cells are in charge for coming up an organism in the process the means of transforming into from a fetus. Now, this contains killing untimely babies in the womb and rather some them. it is basically the top of the ICEBERG.

Yes, we will continue to support china.
It is a huge growing economy and western countries are just dying to attempt to exploit it and make sack loads of money. Also chinease industry satisfys the wests need for cheap consumer products.
In short, money money money.
If China had oil then they would probably be part of Bushes axis of evil and top of the list of countries that the US needs to invade as part of the war on terror...or an I just being cynical : )

America has some of the worst in the world but as they are in control of most of the organisations controlling it including the UN there is nothing anybody else can do to stop it. Stop dissing out other countries when we Europe and America are the worst offenders (do not throw stones in a greenhouse)

China is huge, and we want the market. In spite of their human rights record, not that human rights matter to capitalist concerns, and even in spite of their thievery. We'll whine and complain for the sake of seeming concerned, and do business.

Human Rights? The US doesn't really care about human rights if there is something they can get out of it. Ever seen the cover of Time magazine where Donald Rumsfeld is grinning from ear to ear and shaking hands with Saddam Hussein? We knew what he was doing to his own people. Never let it be said we let human rights get in the way of the almighty dollar.
