That you may be gaining some weight in the belly area... if you're pregnant this is a good thing!

For men, and women who aren't pregnant - it means that they're gaining weight & getting fat. Expanding waistline means that they have to buy bigger jeans to accomodate.
For pregnancy, it means that the belly is getting bigger, and again...bigger jeans. As you posted the question in pregnancy, my guess is that people are now telling you that you are beginning to show.

If your pregnant an expanding waistline is great!!! because in a couple of months it will be non exisitant and you will wonder where it has gone!

It means your waist line is expanding, either from pregnancy or you're gaining weight.

Well hopefully ypu are pregnant, because if your not, people are just being rude...but it might just mean you are getting thick hips and chubby??
