I suppose it COULD happen to a woman, but it's primarily a man thing because of their hairy belly buttons drawing sweater lint, fuzz, etc into their belly buttons. I like to save my husbands and use it to knit a sweater at the end of winter.

It happens to everybody. You get belly button fluff and you also get a fluffy nipple especially in winter time when one wears woollen clothes. Funny, isn't it?
