"Heroine (sic)" is a drug derived from poppies. It is a type of opiate and there are two types, china white (expensive), or black (cheap). It is usually indiced either by smoking it or through a hyperdermic needle. It supposedly gives a "warm feeling" and the first time it is used will be a powerful feeling. However, subsequent uses will no longer provide the same amount feeling with the same dosage used before and users will be using more and more of it due to the tolerance acquired and can and will lead to an overdose. When one wants to stop using it, the user will have withdrawal symptoms from the chemical dependency attained from the drug. Often, too, the lower class users of this drug will be so financially burdened by their drug habit that they will resort to stealing or other criminal activities to their habit which in turn results in loss of social contacts with friends and family. Heroin is a hard drug to get over but there are ways to cope. Rehab clinics often prescribe methadone as a substitute for heroin to lessen the user's withdrawal symptoms.

takes all your money
makes you paranoid
makes you lose your friends and family.
gives you a real bad hair day ( not to mention skin, heart, weight, stomach and liver)
generally ruins your life and the lives of those around you that care for you.
High probability of death.
