i am part of a student group on my college campus trying to raise awareness of global issues of injustice. do you have any suggestions for effectively raising global awareness?
(some ideas we have already come up with include AIDS week, the movie "invisible children", and fair trade coffee month.)

look it up and do it. It is very effective in the creative ways that it calls attention to society.

How about the insidious and unlawful usurpation of power by the governments of the world against the people they are entrusted to govern? The defining value of freedom is the power of People over Government. When the Government overthrows that power, as the U.S. has done to the Constitution, that is the definition of Tyranny.
