The percentage of Iraqis who support attacks on our soldiers rose from 47% in January to 61% now. Are we really winning the battle for their hearts and minds?

Remind me why we put our children out there; it wasn't to serve as target practice for a billion muslims, was it?

Originally when USA bombed Iraq for days on end to kill Sadam the people of Iraq thought that USA would make life better for them. Their life has been a living hell surrounded by death, destruction and rapes. Water, food, shelter and safety are hard to come by. Their quality of life has degraded so much and there is no end in site. You can blame insurgents or what ever you want but it was USA who invaded Iraq to make things better for its citizens and things are allot worst. If the same thing would have been done to USA would you support the invading troops?

Many, if not most, Iraqis feel that life was better and more secure under Saddam.

How bad has the administration screwed up that life in Iraq is worse? How incompetent to you have to be to not even meet that low standard. I mean, it’s not as if anyone wanted to go there before we invaded. Now, only the terrorists are successful and happy.

Actually I saw a poll on Yahoo or MSN that said over 80% of the Iraqi people were happy we were there and were thankful for our protection we are providing. So do I believe a University poll or a political poll.......what do you think.

I bet you are dancing a jig, this is probably the best feeling you have had sense the US lost in Vietnam. I wish there was another way you would get your kicks that did not involve rruining US tropps of sucess.

Maybe it's because they know that it's NOT about a "war on terror" or "fighting for freedoms". It's REALLY all about THIS!...

What in the world are we still doing over there? I spent time over there, and believe me, there isn't anything worth dying for over there!
