You might want to tell her that you only look at her as being a close friend nothing more. Girls are sometimes desperate and wanting a boy friend badly. If you said no then that is your answer. Girls can't have their way. But she may be sad because of the way you said it to her. Just talk to her. Let know that you don't mean to be rude or anything but you don't look at her as being your girlfriend. She'll get over it and probably get stuck on someone else before you know it.

You said no to what? What was her question? Sadness is something pretty deep and the answer to the question had to be pretty negative. Talk with her about this so you both can bring closure to a delicate issue and feel better about it........

Maybe you can introduce her to a friend that you think would be a good match for her, and reassure her that it is not about who she is, just that you do not feel the way she does. It may console her if you were willing to be a good friend to her, you must care enough because you are concerned about her feelings. Who knows you may be the best of friends someday.

Well you can't be forced to like someone. Maybe you should tell her how you feel so at least she'll know you like her a little bit

The kindest thing you can do for her is let her go. Do not lead her on or keep her hanging on to false hope. She will be hurt in the beginning, but will thank you later for setting her free to find true love.

well you said you like her a little? well i say take her out on a date maybe youll like her more. make sure she knows its just a date and if she is totally gettin getting on your nerves and you dont like her. then explain that. but i think you should give it a chance! what can it hurt? take her somewhere kind of inexpensive and somewhere where you can get to know her. good luck@!

There's nothing you can do. It will pass and she'll get over it. Kudos to you for being honest with her!
