PlayStation 3 all the way... and the thing about the ps3 is the prices will go down but the system will never be crappy. I think the ps3 will go on alot longer than the 360.... really the 360 is already old... not saying that i don't like the 360 its just that is boring and the same thing all the time... plus u have to get rid of all your old PlayStation and Ps2 games if u are going to get a 360 and that just not right... so the answer is the PlayStation 3.

Quite obviously the choice is the Xbox 360. While the PS3 may have a bit more capability than the 360, you can't overlook the fact that it costs $200-300 more (depending on which version you get.) Xbox already has about a hundred games launched, most of which make up the planned PS3 lineup.

Let's recap here: Xbox 360 has roughly the same capabilities, the same games (and then some,) and it costs hundreds of dollars less. The choice is obvious.

Go with the Xbox 360 its got better games Halo, Gears of War, Too Human, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Bio Shock, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Splinter Cell Double Agent and not to mention the fact that Grand Theft Auto is now exclusive to to Xbox 360. Now try to name any good PS3 games that we know are coming out ........................ you cant because their are none!

Sonys PS3 is supposed to have better graphics but not any more because this fall Microsoft is Updating all the Xbox 360s so that they can display games in 1080P just like sonys console and the update is free so now their graphics will look just as good.

Basically Xbox 360 is going to have better games cost 200 dollars less.

It really depends on what games you like. I'll give you the run down of system specifics too.

PS3.
1. Metal gear solid, Final fantasy, God of war, motorstorm, kingdom hearts. Are all exclusives.
2 .A built in Blu-ray DVD player
3. Online service will be close to xbox live service
4. Slightly powerful than the Xbox 360
5. They put a tilt motion sensor in the controller for a new way to play games.

Xbox 360
1. Halo, Forza motorsport, Blue dragon, Dead rising, Gears of war. Are all exclusives
2. Will have an HD-DVD add on in the future
3. Awesome Online service I mean wow!
4.You can download whole games like street fighter 2, mortal kombat, Bejeweled or demo 360 games.
5.Only $400 for the full package, compared to the Playstation 3's hefty $600 price tag.

If your buying a system not for exclusives go with the Xbox 360. As in if you just play grand theft auto or madden you'll get more bang for your buck.

But if you must play your metal gears or final fantasy's the PS3's the way to go

Also don't forget to buy an HDTV. You'll need it to really get the next gen quality out of your system

The playstation 3 is bad for 3 reasons

1.600 dollars to get the actual gaming system
2. It will cost cloase to 100 dollars PER game
3. Sony will not allow the sell or buy of used games in stores (Gamestop and EB etc.)

Plus, Xbox 360 has Halo 3...

Xbox360!!! Yes ps3 might have blue ray "better graphics" "faster cuz of cell" oKKKKKKK we dont need blue ray they got blue ray... it might be faster but when i saw a loading screen the xbox360 turned on faster....the loading for disc for ps3 is like 12x
for 360 is 14x and graphics ,,,,, i remember sony saying 550 the 360 500 so yea ps3 gots better graphics OOOOO wait now they downgraded the graphics to 500 so the graphics are the same...O ....O...Xbox360 has better shooter games (my favorite)
and sony has shitty games oohhh yea they made 6000 games for the ps2 and only like 10 were badasss we dont need a shiiiit load of bad games we need good games and xbox360 has them each game they make is badass

So i would pick the 360 Why????... becuz 1. Cheaper 2.Both have similar programs (pictures, movies, buying things with points) 3) Better games 4) Ps3 is not all that it might be faster orhave better graphics but just slightly its not a big difference u cant probably tell the difference.

Ya know I have mixed feelings about this subject. The PS3 has some awsome grafix and has some awsome games but is outrageously pricey. The Xbox 360 is awsome and has games that I can respect like Dead Rising and Call of Duty 2. This however does not have any of my personal favorite games such as Kingdom Hearts.

Xbox has sh*t for games. PS3 is too expensive, Sony just wants power and money, and the games are only slightly better than Xbox 360. Wii is flawless.
