Does he just so happen to get "PMS-y" around when the bills are due? When something regular and particularly stressful is happening? Talk to him about it.

Yes, they do! I think we would call it Post Marital Syndrome:) Most all men do go through this and it is not uncommon. We women tend to forget at times that our men are not "bullet Proof". They too have feelings, just as we do.Everyone needs a little "me" time and if this is your husbands way of expressing it, consider yourself lucky. A lot of men cope with it in many different and worse ways. Some men walk out on their family during this time.Others are cruel or abusive.I have one like yours, and I think we are the lucky ones ,they could be worse.Just be there for him as you would expect him to be there for you. They need to be reminded at times that they are wanted and loved, not just needed and liked:)

Yes, make sure he has plenty of beer on hand. Be kind to him, make him his favorite dinners and desserts. When he is sitting on the recliner and watching football for two days or more, find the remote for him when he misplaces it. Make sure there are plenty of candy bars on hand, this is vital. Don't ask the poor man to be soccer dad or Mr.fix-it during this period of time, let him catch up on his rest and relaxation. If he wants sex, ' yes dear' him whenever requested. If you follow these few simple rules there should not be a problem. Good luck and best wishes.

some in the medical profession do think men go thru a sort of PMS... a body is a body !!! but it could be that your man has a mild form of depression !! mine as suffered from it in yrs past, and it can go into a tail spin if not treated... so I would suggest a full physical and a work up, some doctors can give him a short form of a depression analysis in their office... God bless
