Think about it.

Some of the so called smartest people, at times, are the dumbest.

What do you think?

Book smart, street stupid. One thing they don't teach in college is common sense.

A college degree won't necessarily make you any "smarter" but it will change the way people look at you and it can open doors that would otherwise be closed. A lifetime of education cannot replace a single day of experience or an ounce of common sense. The world is full of educated boobs.

Yes a degree does not mean you are smart. Specially if you have a degree in accounting and you are trying to talk about science. Some of the smartest people never had a college degree. Intellect does not mean degree, it means knowledge.

I used to live in Northern Virginia, and it was filled with some of the most educated idiots I'd ever met.
Just because you've got a degree, doesn't mean you're smart. It means you finished the assignments and parrotted-back the info the professor wanted to hear.

If your hypothetical dumb but educated person was not educated, I imagine they would have less to say...probably good for us but bad for them.

Any education probably has some value, but not always in proportion to the effort they went through to achieve it.

Bill Gates dropped out of college, I bet his accountant thinks he's smarter than everyone in the world!

It's not about being "dumb". It's REALLY about being "EVIL"! Bush is a member of--and backed by--THIS secret and evil group that's been in control of everything for far too long!...

college is always a waste of money considering that fact that im making more than most college graduates with an AA

if college had specific courses to take for a specific career, i'd go back, but all that "general" bullshit just is a waste of my time. I learned enough of that in high school.

Unless you are a doctor or a lawyer...

dstr.. what? like it, dontcha? are you saying "conservative" in quotes because i'm supposed to be a prude?
