When the fluid is hot it expands - if your coolant system is completely full it may expand enough that some has to be released in order to prevent damage to the system. The pressure cap is designed to allow this to happen. If your car's temperature stays in the proper zone, and it's not low on coolant (check when engine is cold - not driven over night) then I wouldn't worry about it.

The next time you drive your car, and it's up to operating temperature, lift the hood and look at the coolant reservoir. If it's over flowing, then you just have too much in it, and there's nothing you need to do. It will drain itself down to a level where it will stop leaking. If you check it and it's not filled to the top and overflowing, and you're still getting signs of a leak under the car, start looking at other areas, such as hoses, and the radiator cap itself.

it may have a crack in the bottle part where you add the anti freeze in it,,i own a repair shop,, and i have seen a lot of them leak there before it might be a good idea to have it checked out real good before winter gets here this way it wont give any trouble once cold weather gets here,id not take a chance on something leaking on it like that,,any good repair shop, can check it for you ,and the repair shouldn't be that much for it,good luck i hope this help,s.

Chances are it IS overheating and your temperature gauge is broken. Have that checked ASAP, it could cost you your engine.

Alternately, replace your thermostat(this is fairly easy in most cars) or just leave it out and see if that solves the problem.

Themostat is the first thing to check as its the cheapest to deal with.

the easy answer is, check your hoses, radiator cap and your over-flow.
