Volunterring at an animal rescue or in an animal shelter is a great way if you love animals. Hospitals are great and always in need if you want to help people. If you'd rather be away from all of that, you can always call up programs that give food to the poor. A lot of them need volunteers to help pack things. :) Just look in your area, I'm sure if you thoroughly look in these catagories, you'll find a ton!

Volunteer to mentor a younger child. Go read at a retirement home. Use whatever your talents are to enrich someone else's life. Find joy in sharing what you have been given.

Try going to an inner city school and helping elementary kids with their homework afterschool. Not that the kids will stay..... but you can try. Real eye opener. For you.
