OK, if you have not purchased the router yet then get this one:
http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=136493

..it's really easy to configure .. the install CD will take you thru all the steps.

If you have an IP conflict as you mention then with the router and all the computers connected do the following on EACH of your computers:

START>ACCESSORIES>Command Prompt
then type in IPCONFIG /RELEASE
then IPCONFIG /RENEW
..this will renew the IP address for this computer and a new IP address will be assigned to the computer ..
...now type EXIT ..and the box will close

...repeat with each of your computers...and a new IP address will be assigned to each computer .. that will solve the IP conflict issue..

I hope that helps..

No - the router form you prepare is designed to act using very reality the carry close and connect with shoppers. it really is not designed to connect as a shopper to a particular instantaneous carry close. you're prepared to the contact Netgear tech help to exercising consultation in the adventure that they have a firmware restoration that teach you recommendations to do what you opt for, yet you do not have the controls you opt for between the classic reflects

it really depends on the router. you should start by hooking up one machine and making sure it works and you can log into the router to make changes. then add additional machine. you shouldn't have an ip conflict with only one computer attached.
