Galinos, some 20 centuries ago, proved that we think with our brain!
Similarly, Hippocrates wrote that there are juices in our body, including blood, which circulate even to the smallest cell bringing "food" and oxygen and getting info about the condition.
When the info has some intruder, the body, somehow, prepares its defense by sending proper cells, with the juices and fight against the intruders.
The joints are connecting two different parts of moving animals' bodies, so that when the order is for motion, the nerves are doing the work, the joints are working as leverages and the movement is procured!
