If Bush can steal election like you claim, why is the House and Senate race so close. Shouldn't they easily be able to steal 40 seats?
Thanks Rush for pointing this out.

I have followed CSpan and their election coverage. Look for yourself http://www.campaignnetwork.org/
According to them, Republicans have 217 of the 218 seats needed to control the house. Dems have 204. Republicans have 49 seats in the Senate and need 50 to keep control (Cheney is the tie breaker). The Dems have 44.

Apparently it should be pretty easy in Detroit and Seattle with all the dead people who vote. How many other cities have the dead gone to the polls.

All elections are ran the same except for the presidential elections, that is why other races are not questioned like the presidential election is. If a person who is of ether party living in a state that is mostly of the other party, your vote does not count, how fair is that?
And lets face it, if you, a clear republican, found out that the Kerry won the election, but that Bush won the popular vote (like that would happen) you would be just as upset, now wouldn't you? and wouldn't you be running around with your Republican buddies saying that Kerry stole the election.
I think that we need to have the presidential election ran just like any other election, and let the person who got the most votes win, this way there would be none of this, popular vote verses the electoral vote crap going on, the people would truly have a say in who becomes the president.

First off... I don't think Bush stole the election...
But, Rush and you of course have overlooked the main issue of cheating... don't let others know you're doing it...
if an election in San Fransico is swept by Republicans... someone is going to know something is up...
however... if the senate and house are kind of close, and dems win the obvious ones... then all of a sudden "it can't be rigged!"
Republicans aren't supid... at the very least...

First of all I am not a Flag burner. I fought for my Country so instead of of calling people names like a child in Pre K just give
an answer to a very good question.
I think after Bush was put into office he used 9/11 to help the Republicans. We all know that after 9/11 Democrats were being subjected to false accusations by the Republican party. Forgive me I can not remember the guys name but he sat in Congress for some time, He was a veteran of Vietnam , He lost both legs and an arm and was described by Republicans as someone that
was a friend of Bin Laden.
You know it is what it is but maybe this next election will have a different result. I

I'm not a Liberal but Bush didn't "steal" The election. Our outmoded ridiculous Electoral System gave it to him.

The Presidential election only needed a slight "tip" in a few jurisdictions, in particular, jurisdictions where Diebold and ES&S had electronic control of the voting.

How about this next election, how are you republicans doing? Not so good? Too many scandals about the quagmire in Iraq, Republican Congressmen trying to seduce pages, outing CIA agents, and so on?
