What would happen if King Arthur would come back right now, in 2006, to reign as king? What would his thoughts be?

What would he think of... fast food, electricity, cars, guns-not swords, no servants, WalMart... & much more.
I have to write a story & I have some ideas.. but I'm writing the story as "I am Arthur"... & it has to bee kind of long.. and I'm not that creative!!
PLEASE give me ideas of what you think Arthur would say when he'd see our world!!!! -THANKS! =)

One way of dealing with writer's block, is to narrow down your focus.

First, you'll need to know a little bit about King Arthur's personality and character. I HIGHLY recommend T.H. White's "The Once and Future King". I read it when I was your age. It will give you ideas and hopefully some inspiration.

Narrow that focus: Give King Arthur a setting. Don't bother with time-travel devices and other distractions to the reader. You want readers focusing on what an interesting person he is, not the scientific ramifications of how he got here or what he "ought" to do.

He was a religious man, very devoted to God. Put him in a church, where's he's probably praying for some inspiration. Maybe he'll have a conversation with a priest there... The priest could give his point of view on the modern world, and Arthur could counterpoint that with comparisons to 5th century Britain.

just an idea.

For something funny, maybe he could find a television studio "Excalibur Productions", get the wrong idea, and decide to tell the director how things REALLY were in ancient Britain.

'Sounds like fun. Good luck!

Aurthur would proclaim that the world has gone mad. Then he
would question his own sanity. He would wonder just when he slipped quietly into madness. At what exact moment did he turn his head away from sanity and madness crept in. He then would ponder if he was being punished for some slight he had done to someone, some wrong he had not corrected. Would he be destined to forever wander this earth in eternal purgatory for a
past sin in another life. Then briefly he would wonder if perhaps
Merlin was teaching him another lesson in life and he would cry out for Merlin to end this madness. When Merlin does not answer
he would collapse in a heap of great despair. ....hope this helps.

No, because of the fact I infrequently comprehend the place i pass with it until eventually I initiate writing it. whether I did i does no longer, i ought to care much less if people desire to envision what I write or no longer, I certainly tend to place in writing the varieties of issues i could desire to envision. It sounds constrained yet my tastes are so board in examining truly it ought to be something. in spite of the shown fact that, there is an exception. i'm a playwright and each so often i'm getting employed to place in writing some thing particular. So, case in point, if i develop into asked to place in writing some thing approximately severe college pupils making alternatives on what to do after commencement, i could get the call or e mail, arise with some characters and a bother-free plot then meet with the guy who asked me to place in writing it. they provide me the ok, I write it, they pay me. There could be no experience in in basic terms working with it, putting in that artwork on some thing that i does no longer have written in any different case, looking out that they hated it and are not going to apply it, then i does no longer gets a commission.

Email me and talk to me as Arthur. I think you'll be pleased.
Click on my name to get my contact information. I'm very familiar with period and the actual historical setting, as well as a number of fantasy and historical fiction settings created for him. My library of "Arthuria" is well over a thousand volumes in size.

Happy to help a budding author.

arthur says: kids - royal or otherwise, should believe in themselves & do their own homework. Nonetheless, How about this:

Well, you could do a spoof on his search for the holy grail ---
he could discover things like "light rail" (train service) and habitrail (a hamster cage), she-males (men dressed as women),
temendous gale (hurricanes), killer whales (shamu), dusty trails (cowboys), etc. find a gimmick and use it to thread the story through. in this case, you're using words that rhyme. good luck!

to reign as king, he would have to tour the world since he's gonna need some alliances with some of the biggest countries here,

they give him a tour of their culture and you can elaborate with each country and you could write at least 10 volumes from there...

also he's gonna have to undergo some press conferences and speak what his thoughts are
