If you're traveling 60 miles per hour, that is 96.6 kilometers per hour.

Just plug it in to your equation:

r = 60 mph

k = 1.61r
k = 1.61 (60)

k = 96.6 kph

This is just the ratio of kilometers to miles (1.61 km = 1 mile), so you just multiply 60 x 1.61 = 96.6
