7(3x/7)=7(-3)
3x=-21
3x/3=-21/3
x=-7

3X / 7 = -3

(3X / 7) (7) = (-3) (7)

3X = -21

3X / 3 = -21 / 3

x = -7

your going to divide the 7 out becuase the opposite of division is multiplication so
(3x/7)*7 =-3*7
becuase what you do to once side you have to do to the other. so
3x =-21
and then divide 3 out and once again do it to the other side therefore
x= -7
